Joseph Ennin , is undoubtedly one of the most prominent figures in the Asian salsa world at the moment. Over 13 years after first falling under the spell of salsa, whilst living in the UK, Joseph has over the years been privileged to learn from a wonderful list of world great instructors, performers, event organizers, social dancers, Djs and students.
As an INSTRUCTOR, Joseph's attention to detail whilst maintaining a sense of fun in his classes has and continues to delight many students around the world.
As a DJ, Joseph's many years of Dj experience, appreciation of music and awareness of the dance floor situation has made his DJ sets of the highest caliber.
Additionally Emcee-ing, judging in salsa competitions, performing, competing (back in the day), organizing local and international events, as well as social dancing around the world enables Joseph to appreciate all aspects of the salsa genre and he carries this appreciation of salsa effortlessly and joyfully.
Based in Hong Kong and traveling extensively to teach, dj, perform, judge, social dance or promote salsa in HK and Asia, you can be sure to experience the delightful 'way of the salsero' with Joseph.

“Mambo” Jack
Jack Dunn or as many know him as "Mambo" Jack has spent the last eight years traveling the world spreading his love for Salsa. He currently resides in Beijing China, and is co-director along side his partner Zhen Zhen of the Phoenix Dance Company. Originally from Arizona and trained by the famous Eddie Torres “The Mambo King” in New York City. He has been a key factor in the growth of Salsa not only in Beijing, but all over China. Jack has performed and taught at many International Salsa events throughout the World including the 2006 West Coast World Salsa Congress, 2004 -2006 Hong Kong Salsa Festival, 2005 Korea Salsa Congress, 2005 Scandinavian Salsa Congress, 2007 Taipei Salsa Festival, and many others. In 2006 he was honored and recognized at the World Famous West Coast Salsa Congress for his contribution to Latin Music and Dance by Mr. Albert Torres. In 2006 Jack was honored as being one of the 12 judges at the World Salsa Championships held in Las Vegas that was aired on ESPN. Jack continues to this day to spread his passion for the dance and music to thousands throughout the world.
Zhen Zhen
Zhen Zhen is the co-founder of the Phoenix Dance Company, and is the current director along side her partner Jack. Zhen Zhen comes from a family of professional Chinese dancers. She has shocked audiences throughout the World with her elegant, but explosive style of dancing Salsa! Her high energetic performances have left audiences on there feet only wanting more. Zhen Zhen has taught and performed in several countries around the world including Korea, Thailand, USA, Sweden, Norway, and all over China. Her unique style and passion for dancing Salsa has earned her the respect as one of Asia’s top Salsa dancers!

DJ Will developed the love for salsa in Toronto where he grew up. After his trips to Cuba and Dominican Republic in year 2000 and 2001, his interest in the world of salsa became his passion.
His salsa DJing started after winning the Salsa Night DJ Challenge at Club’97 in HK. “Listening to salsa music makes me happy every time…it only make sense to return this happiness to the dancers and club goers.”
On top of his daytime job, he spins three to four nights a week regularly at a salsa venue in HK. With just over a year and a bit under his belt as a DJ he has developed into one of the local favorite Latin DJs.
DJ Will has recently made his first debut as one of the official DJs at the Hong Kong Salsa Festival 2007, “that was one of life time dreams come true”. He was also featured at the Hong Kong Salsa Congress summer of 2007, and invited as a guest DJ at the Singapore International Salsa Festival 2007.

DJ Javed - Quick Step Productions (HK)
Javed comes from India, a land where music and dance is an inherent part of the culture from ancient times. His affinity to music is born natural, while dancing has been part of his daily diet even before the salsa fever took root.
Learning to dance Salsa was a childhood dream which was fulfilled two years ago during the Hong Kong Salsa Festival 2005.
Javed’s transition from a Salsa dancer to a Latin music DJ is only a recent one. He is thoroughly enjoying churning out red hot salsa and Latin tracks such as Reggaeton, Merengue, Bachata, Latin Hip Hop and Jazz for the dancing pleasure of all the salseros |
